The ICC Cricket World Cup is known as International Championship of One Day International Cricket. It is consider as “flagship event of the International cricket calendar” by the ICC and the tournament is one of the world most viewed sporting events.
Every Four Years the event is organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the first was held in the year 1975 in England. The Current trophy is made from silver and gilt, and features a golden globe held by three columns. The columns is shaped as stump and balls which represent the three fundamental aspects of cricket: batting, bowling and fielding, while the globe represents a cricket ball.

The 1975 Cricket World Cup was the first edition of the Cricket World cup, which was organized by the ICC and it was held from 7th June to 21st June 1975 in England. In the final, West Indies defeat Australia to lift the first ever World Cup Trophy.
