We’ve only started our list, but the numbers are already enormous. But hey, this is Las Vegas. A recently-turned senior woman won $680,000 on the Wheel of Fortune in the Palace Station Hotel. What a sane person would do is to cash out and take the money elsewhere but not this senior. She continued her winning spree and eventually won more than $27 million in the Megabucks jackpot after a couple of months. Talk about luck!

5. $8.9 million

Another senior who won her Vegas jackpot is a 71-year-old Amy Nishimura. She was just on vacation from Hawaii and always saw to it that she plays on the same machine at the Freemont Hotel. Playing for one 3 hours with $100, she won the massive $8.9 million jackpot and went on to finish her extravagant vacation. Living the dream.

Not wanting to run out of his winnings, he decided to take the annuity option of receiving $1.5 million a year for the next 25 years. This guy is set for life.
